The leasing and fleet management giant operates a fleet of around 160,000 cars and vans in the UK. As well as using Ebbon-Dacs’ Leaselink e-procurement platform Leaselink, it has also deployed the complementary moDel solution for the majority of the 20,000 cars and vans it delivers each year.

The solution enables Leaselink users to automatically upload all electronic vehicle delivery and collection information directly into the platform, and according to Claire Hughes, vehicle acquisitions manager at Arval UK, has sped up Arval UK’s ability to start the new vehicle contracts for its corporate customers significantly and allowed much faster payment to its supplying dealers.

Ebbon-Dacs has also recently enhanced the moDel system’s capabilities and it can now be used on all Android smart phones with screens of five inches or bigger, while a new schematic of a generic van enables users to record and notify areas of damage on vans as well as cars.

The company is also planning to launch a number of new features within the system, which it says are set to make it more attractive and user-friendly.For more industry latest news, click here.
