Audi says the Pop.Up Next modular concept could help solve traffic problems in cities.

The ‘Pop.Up Next’ concept brings a two-seater passenger cabin that can be attached either to a car chassis or to a drone and features a 49-inch screen along with facial recognition, eye-tracking and a touch function to enable passengers to communicate with the technology.

The latest version builds on the initial Pop.Up concept shown last year at Geneva with a significantly lighter construction and a revised interior, and according to Dr Bernd Mertens, Audi Board Member for Procurement, is “a vision that could permanently change urban life”.
