Powered by a 70hp and 200Nm rear axle-mounted electric motor with a lithium-ion battery and a 1.6 THP petrol engine which will generate 225bhp and a torque of 275Nm,the Numero 9 can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 5.4 seconds, whilst emitting only 39g/km of CO2.

With the new DS Line due to be launched in China throughout the year, the Numero 9 concept provides a rough idea as to what we can expect design-wise from the upcoming Citroen line-up of DS Line models: a C-segment premium sedan, an SUV and a D-segment executive saloon.

The electric motor can be recharged in 3 ½ hours from a normal domestic socket, which will facilitate the concept to operate in all-electric rear-wheel-drive mode for about 50km.
