Dubbed Global Driver Services and set to roll out across all Europcar markets, the solution expands the Europcar portfolio by offering professional driver services particularly aimed at business and leisure travellers looking to get to and from train stations or airports, and will offer three levels of service: economy, business and first class.

The service will make use of technology developed by London-based ride-hailing firm Brunel which was acquired by Europcar Group in 2016 and operates globally.

Sheila Struyck, managing director of the Europcar New Mobility Business Unit, said: “Europcar Global Driver Services fulfils the Europcar brand promise for customers who look for a professional driver to transport them. Allowing customers to book chauffeur transportation for the same trip simplifies travel planning and will allow them to feel completely relaxed when travelling. Business and leisure travellers trust Europcar for its high standards in terms of service and its vision of new mobility.”
