Leasys names new CEO

Leasys has appointed Alberto Grippo as its new chief executive officer as it announces a number of other changes.

Grippo joins FCA Bank’s mobility solutions and long-term rental group from Madrid, where he led the bank’s operations in Spain, Portugal and Morocco. This included steering the implementation of the first European branch of Leasys in Spain.

His new role will see him lead Leasys towards the consolidation of its operations and the continued implementation its internationalisation strategy which, beginning in 2017, has already led to its expansion into six countries outside of Italy.

Other changes see Roberto Bellavia, formerly head of Leasys UK, replace Danny Meulenberghs as the head of Leasys Belgium. Bellavia is replaced in the UK by Sebastiano Fedrigo, who joins from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK. Giacomo Carelli (FCA Bank’s CEO) maintains his role as chairman of the Board.
