New CEOs at Alphabet Netherlands and Alphabet Belgium

Alphabet has appointed new chief executive officers to head up its Netherlands and Belgium offices.

Christel Reynaerts and Erik Swerts.

Christel Reynaerts, currently CEO of Alphabet Belgium, will take on the position of CEO at Alphabet Netherlands, effective 1 September, replacing Jorge Bautista, who will move on to the Used Car Business within BMW Group America.

Ms Reynaerts brings 12 years of experience within the BMW Group, starting in 2005 as general manager in international sales at Alphabet as well as head of commercial finance at BMW Financial Services and as head of international corporate sales for BMW.

Erik Swerts will succeed Ms Reynaerts as CEO of Alphabet Belgium, also with effect from 1 September.

Swerts is currently chief operations officer at Alphabet Belgium and has been with the BMW Group since 2011, where he was appointed as COO for the Belgium market.

Prior to this he was director of operations at ING Car Lease where he had held various operational roles since 1988.
