The web-based software will support more than 19,000 system users across the company’s engineering, demonstrator, motor pool as well as its employee car ownership programme fleet vehicles. The software will be integrated with a number of internal legacy systems, including Nissan’s vehicle manufacturing system and HR, finance and external supplier systems.

Ashley Sowerby, managing director at Chevin, said: “FleetWave’s comprehensive capabilities will be used to streamline many manual and labour-intensive processes at Nissan North America. FleetWave will enable Nissan employees to order, build and manage not only corporate vehicle inventory, but employee vehicles as well.

“We are pleased to be able to help Nissan North America meet its fleet management needs.”
