Nissan has given a makeover to its Qashqai crossover, which gains updated design, new semi-autonomous driving technology and a flagship Tekna+ grade.

The facelifted Nissan Qashqai

The facelifted Nissan Qashqai is now offered with the Propilot semi-autonomous driving tech.

On sale across Europe from July 2017, the new model will be available with Nissan’s Propilot autonomous drive capability, which controls the steering, acceleration and braking in a single lane on highways.

Technology changes also see Pedestrian Recognition added to the Intelligent Emergency Braking while Rear Cross Traffic Alert is now available on Qashqai for the first time. The updated model also brings a new user interface for the NissanConnect infotainment system along with the option of a BOSE seven-speaker premium sound system.

Interior enhancements include a new range-topping Tekna+ grade while engine line-up is carried over.
