Already seen on the Mokka X and Crossland X, the trim brings features including 360-degree panoramic camera, Premium LED Adaptive Forward Lighting Pack with projector headlights 19-inch alloys, heated steering wheel, heated rear outer seats and black roof and door mirrors.

These join existing standard features including OnStar, dual zone climate control, lane departure warning and rear parking sensors.

The trim also debuts Opel’s 177hp 2.0-litre diesel, which offers official NEDC CO2 emissions of 126-8g/km and a combined 4.9-4.8l/100km – depending on if low rolling resistance tyres are fitted – and is married up with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The engine accelerates from 0 to 100kph in 9.1 seconds with a top speed of 214kph.

The Grandland X Ultimate is available to order now, priced from €37,320 OTR.
