SEAT deliveries are up 14.5% compared to January – April 2016.

The firm’s CarToMarket study, which covers the main six European markets, found the new SEAT Ibiza “to be the car with one of the lowest depreciation amongst competitors included in the CarToMarket study and what can turn to be one of the best possible buys in its segment”.

In response, the carmaker highlighted the use of efficient engines to ensure reduce maintenance costs as well as a strong price/equipment ratio and revised maintenance scheduling.

“Thanks to its dynamic and timeless design, its improved interior roominess combined with the advanced technology coming from higher segments, the new generation of SEAT’s legendary model will bring the brand to the next level in the fleet industry,” said Wayne Griffiths, SEAT vice president for marketing and sales.

The rating comes as SEAT reports deliveries of 158,700 vehicles from January to April 2017, up 14.5% on the same period in 2016 (138,600).
