Mobility services specialist Sixt has opened its first location in New York City.

Sixt first launched in the US in 2011

Located in Lower Manhattan in the well-known Battery Park, the new outlet will offer an all-Cadillac fleet liveried in the brand’s orange and black colours and including the ATS, CTS XTS, CT6, CTS-V sedans, and the XT5 and Escalade SUVs, with the XT4 coming soon

Sixt launched in the US in 2011 and claims to be the fourth largest car rental provider in the market. Alongside New York City, the brand has also opened new US locations this year in Denver International Airport, San Antonio International Airport and Ft. Myers International Airport, while it expanded stations at Tampa International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport.

Daniel Florence, COO of Sixt USA, said: “Millions who love the Sixt brand in Europe have asked when we’d be rolling out our well-known advertising style here in America. Until now, we’ve been focused on quietly growing the company and building out our national network. The opening of our first branch in New York City created the perfect opportunity to turn up the volume, giving Americans a taste of who we are and what they can expect as new Sixt branches debut almost every month. You’ll continue to hear a lot more from us as we work tirelessly to earn loyal Sixt fans as we have in Europe and around the world.”
