The Spanish true fleet market continues to expand at a double-digit rate, according to latest figures from Dataforce.

The Spanish true fleet sector hit another month of double-digit growth

The analysis by the firm’s Christian Spahn shows the sector rose 16.5%, following a figure of 16.0% in May. However, the private channel was more subdued with a 1.4% rise after the previous month’s +12.3% while special channels was up 12.9% following a 1.9% fall in May.

The top 10 brand table for true fleet shows that VW re-took the top spot that it lost to Renault last year with a sturdy growth of 38.4% followed by Renault and then Toyota, which saw a rise of 118.0% and also recorded its best month ever in the true fleet market. This was driven by the Auris, which outregistered the combined figures of C-HR and Rav4 by almost double.

Peugeot in fourth retained its position while Nissan in fifth was the highest mover, other than Toyota, moving up from ninth. Seat in sixth and Audi in seventh were followed by BMW, Mercedes and Citroën. Outside the top 10, Kia in the 13th position also had a noteworthy month, up 51.6%, thanks mostly to the Stonic but Optima also upped its game with a 253.6% growth and Sportage, the top seller for the brand, saw a 46.5% rise.
