TenneT ramps up use of fleetster corporate carsharing software

The firm previously ran their pool cars using a Excel Sharepoint file that was managed by an external service, proving both labour intensive and costly to run.

Six months ago, TennetT turned to using web software and apps by fleetster and since then its 1,200 users have made 1,000 vehicle entries and 370,000km of pool vehicle use with the existing eight vehicles.

The software is now being expanded to three other locations after the firm saw a 90% in administrative expenses. Other benefits include automatic software updates as the system is web-based.

‘The price of just €10 per vehicle per month is unbeatable. Added to this is the excellent customer service of the fleet most teams. For all inquiries we have received a response and help is always within a few minutes,’ said Alexander Shepherd, strategic purchasing at TenneT.

‘We will in the near future, among other things, implement automatic booking of rental vehicles for demand peaks,’ said Tim Ruhoff, CEO of fleetster. This will mean that the firm can use the software to book fleet car hire when there are insufficient in-house pool vehicles available.
