ALD Automotive and North America’s Wheels Inc have enhanced their global alliance with a new appointment.

Guillaume Bourst, global product director at Wheels

Launched in 2009, the firms’ partnership provides multinational fleets with specialised fleet advice and solutions across 55 markets, and is being reinforced by the appointment of Guillaume Bourst as global product director.

Previously a business development manager for international key accounts at ALD Automotive, Bourst will be responsible for further enhancing the solutions offered by Wheels to its global clients.

The role will see him help identify and pursue product development opportunities, working closely with client account managers across the Global Alliance.

The appointment will draw upon his 12 years of experience at ALD, including roles in Beijing, Shanghai and France.

He will be based in Chicago and report to Ahsan Rahim, chief operating officer at Wheels.

“Guillaume brings a fresh perspective to the services we build and how we address the common challenges that the fleet industry is facing globally,” said Dan Frank, president and CEO of Wheels. “The addition of this product-focused global role further reinforces Wheels’ commitment to our clients and strengthens the Global Alliance’s capability to provide industry-leading services.”

“Our Global Alliance with Wheels enables us to leverage a strong, trusted partnership to serve the strategic needs of our international clients and their fleets worldwide,” added Mike Masterson, CEO of ALD. “Guillaume’s broad experience in the fleet industry and comprehensive understanding of clients’ needs are a strong asset to Wheels and the Global Alliance.”
