Taxi and electric vehicle manufacturer LEVC is continuing to expand its European dealer network as it readies for the launch of its VN5 range-extender electric van.

LEVC’s VN5 range-extender electric van arrives in Europe in spring 2021

It’s due on sale in left-hand drive in March 2021 and takes the e-City range-extender technology from the TX taxi to give an electric-only range of some 93km and a total range of 484km.

The launch of VN5 will significantly widen LEVC’s reach in the commercial vehicle sector and the brand is continuing its work on an EU-wide dealer network that will cover 21 European countries by the end of 2021. In Germany, which already houses the company’s central European sales office in Frankfurt, it now has five dealers, with latest appointments including retailers in two of Germany’s biggest regions to sell the TX, the TX Shuttle and the forthcoming VN5.

Additions include Regensburg-based Svenscar GmbH – LEVC’s first dealer in Bavaria – which will provide full sales and after sales support, covering the city and surrounding area.

Dominik Weber, executive director, Svenscar GmbH, commented: “We are very pleased to agree a dealer partnership with LEVC. We are very active in the taxi business and see LEVC as an ideal complement to our Volvo brand. We are also looking forward to delivering VN5 electric vans to customers next year.”

LEVC has also appointed Autohaus Geisser GmbH to cover across the southern Baden region. Located in Karlsruhe, the new premises will also provide full sales and after sales support.

Joerg Hofmann, LEVC CEO, said: “There is increasing demand for TX shuttle in German cities and a clear sales opportunity for our new electric van, VN5, and we are actively seeking new dealers across Germany to support this growth.”
