Toyota Motor Europe is to establish a new Fleet Mobility Solutions group as it looks to ensure a one-stop service for customers.

Announced as the carmaker revealed a reshuffle of its executives, the group is intended to provide a “seamless pan-European experience” and will be headed up by Tom Fux as director from 1 January. No further details are available at this stage but the announcement of the new group came as Toyota Motor Europe also revealed all activities related to new mobility, connected car and multimedia will be consolidated in a newly established Toyota Mobility & Connected Car Function. This division will be led by vice president Agustin Martin, who also currently holds the role of president Toyota España S.A.

Other executive changes see the announcement that Shuji Suga will be appointed as president, Toyota Motor Russia, replacing Hidenori Ozaki, who will end his assignment there.

Alain Uyttenhoven will be appointed as president, Toyota Deutschland GmbH, replacing Tom Fux, who assumes the role of director, Fleet Mobility Solutions.

Mauro Caruccio is named as managing director, Toyota Motor Italia, replacing Andrea Carlucci, who will be appointed as director, marketing, Toyota Motor Europe.

Finally Osvaldo Valentini will be appointed as managing director, Toyota Baltic AS, replacing Kari Skogster.
