Next-generation telematics to help fleets defend claims and cut costs

The company said its new Eco-Log Assist solution will offer integrated, in-depth driver behaviour analysis, empirical risk/rate evaluation to support forensic accident reconstruction and to reduce the volume and quantum of insurance claims.

It added that benefits include detailed asset management for fleet operators, as well as extensive real-time vehicle health diagnostics/prognostics. 

Geoffrey Finlay, chairman at Lysanda, said: ‘Lysanda has created a new concept in delivering very detailed analysis of driver behaviour and forensic accident reconstruction data, that will, for the first time give insurance companies and fleet operators empirical information on which to defend claims and reduce costs.’
