Dekra Automotive, which offers a number of services in the fleet, retail, aftersales and support services sector, has appointed Paul Bradbury as its new managing director.

Bradbury was previously business development director at Dekra Automotive Solutions and also held the role of managing director of BCA Mainland Europe from 2003-2012.

His appointment comes as Dekra announces the acquisition of Gain Solutions.

Dekra’s regional executive vice president, Frederic Schmitt said: “Paul will lead the UK expansion of our automotive business as we develop and grow our award-winning offerings in quality testing, certification and training solutions.”

Bradbury added: “Dekra is well known as a leading provider in the UK of independent vehicle inspections and performance improvement programmes for OEM dealer networks. We have a wonderfully talented and committed team here and I am looking forward to working with our current partners and making new contacts within the key UK automotive world.”
