Mr Meyer succeeds Patrick Vierveijzer, who leaves the company after 18 years in various roles, and brings experience in various leadership positions at the DLL Group and Athlon, where he was managing director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland until the sale of Athlon in 2016 to Daimler Fleet Management and took responsibility for the integration after this date. He joined LeasePlan Germany in January as commercial director.

“I am pleased to take over this responsible position at LeasePlan after such a short time in the company,” he commented. “We want to give our customers an outlook on future mobility scenarios and offer corresponding, innovative services  in a cost-effective, simple and sustainable way. Our ambitious goal is any car, anytime, anywhere  that’s where we see the future of mobility.”
