Isabelle Fetzer, who was appointed as WEX Europe Services’ head of sales – France in June, is to also head up Belgium and the Netherlands.

The expanded role comes after Ms Fetzer and her team helped oversee significant volume growth following WEX Europe Services’ appointment as a reseller of the E.Leclerc fuel card – essentially doubling its supply network in the country to 1,200 sites.

Ms Fetzer has now been tasked with growing revenue and profitability in Belgium and the Netherlands, and commented: “Different countries present different challenges, but I believe the team and I have developed and learned the right practices, which we can share in Belgium and the Netherlands, as we look to increase volume in both nations.

“They’re all competitive markets within a fast-moving environment, but I am confident that everyone can adapt quickly.”
