The “After Sales Goes Online" study,  conducted by the automotive consultancy wolk after sales experts in August 2012, questioned a total of 1,062 car drivers with regard to their future use of car service online portals, their preferential booking methods, and the most important criteria when it comes to selecting a workshop.

The results underline the strong growth potential of car service market places in the internet. According to the study, today, internet-focused car drivers spend an average of €830 per year for products and services (not only automotive) and almost two working days per week on the internet. In the future, these online spendings will rise by 11%. As the study furthermore shows, 35% already collect information on service range and qualification of workshops from the internet.
