Abax has secured latest ISO recertifications, once again proving its commitment to best-in-class processes.

Abax has been awarded the three ISO certifications for 10 years in a row

The telematics and tracking specialist has now been awarded the ISO certifications on 9001 Quality Management, 14001 Environmental Management and 27001 Information Security Management for 10 years in a row.

It marks the first year however that its subsidiary companies, Automile in Sweden and RAM Mobile Data of Belgium, have also been certified. Auditors at Nemko noted in their report how well the management system was implemented in both companies and praised employees for their knowledge and effective use of processes.

Abax said the certifications reflected the company mindset and added that the basic requirements of the standard cover, such as minimising data, updating systems, backing up, secrecy and restricting access to data, were all part of the day-to-day privacy management at the company.

“We deal with our clients’ and candidates’ most sensitive information and we need to verify that our processes are the best-in-class,” said Titta Bjerck, quality compliance manager at Abax.

Its environment work meanwhile focuses on producing services that enable customers to become more sustainable; again part of the ISO requirements.

Ongoing work at the company will also advance this, protecting sensitive information, engaging in the environment, and consistently delivering quality outcomes for customers and employees.

“We are never done with working with ISO – there’s always room for improvement! Each year the ISO audits provide us with opportunities for improvement, and we really value the collaboration with Nemko,” Titta Bjerck continued.

“We are proud of the fact that Abax has been certified for these three standards for 10 years in a row! How many of our competitors can say the same?”
