Fleet and mobility managers attending next week’s Great British Fleet Event will be able to hear first-hand about how salary sacrifice schemes can support work to cut emissions.

Thom Groot, CEO of Electric Car Scheme, will present a talk on ‘Advice for zero-emission-curious fleets considering electric vehicle salary sacrifice for their drivers’ at the Great British Fleet Event

At the event – running on 29 March 2022 at Novotel London Wes in Hammersmith – Thom Groot, CEO of Electric Car Scheme, will present a talk on ‘Advice for zero-emission-curious fleets considering electric vehicle salary sacrifice for their drivers’.

The talk will draw on Groot’s experience of running the Electric Car Scheme in the UK. Introduced as demand for salary sacrifice continues to soar, the scheme makes it easier for employees to access electric cars through their employers – at no cost to their bosses and bringing claimed savings of around 30-60% on any electric car lease.

His talk is part of the extensive Masterclass Conference sessions at the Great British Fleet Event. These will include informative dialogues on many hot topics in the fleet sector – including EVs and sustainability, as well as operational considerations such as telematics and risk management.

Alongside this, the event will feature two panel discussions: one on shared mobility and the other covering EVs and sustainability.

The Great British Fleet Event will also include a comprehensive exhibition section in the morning, followed in the afternoon by the Great British Fleet Awards.
