First introduced in 1996, the awards recognise new approaches and applications that have produced substantial reductions in costs, lowered emissions and improved safety outcomes.

This year’s winners will be revealed at the dinner event in front of more than 100 attendees, which will be held at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont, Sydney.

The categories are:

  • Fleet Manager of the Year: Supported by Nissan Fleet and Shell.
  • Fleet Environment Award: Supported by Toyota Fleet and Toyota Fleet Management.
  • Fleet Safety Award: Supported by Smartfleet and endorsed by ANCAP.

While the focus of the evening is the announcement of the AfMA Fleet Awards, the dinner also provides an ideal opportunity for individuals to network, strengthen business relationships and share ideas.

Alan Roberts, president of AfMA, said: ‘This is the one night in the calendar when we come together in a more relaxed environment, to celebrate, to meet old friends, create new friendships and we expect many will take the opportunity to share thoughts and ideas with our colleagues in the fleet industry.’
