In line with its mission to provide advice, ALD Automotive has running the events for the last year to help fleets take another step towards "low carbon mobility”.

ALD has previously created a testing centre in its headquarters in Clichy and can now offer the ability to move the centre to customer sites, allowing them to test electric vehicles, the charging infrastructure and to understand their specific benefits.

Eiffage Construction, a leading European construction to which ALD Automotive funds and manages a fleet of over 10,000 vehicles, has become the latest firm to benefit from this service. The event was held at the start of April as part of a week-long sustainable development focus. Employees of its headquarters in Velizy-Villacoublay had the opportunity to drive the main vehicles available on the market. Meanwhile, a reception area with the ALD Experienze branding allowed all employees to learn about electromobility.

‘ALD Experienze allows us to fulfil two of our goals,’ says Ingrid Jouve, quality, environment, innovation and sustainable development at Eiffage Construction. ‘First of all, through this presentation and these tests, we sensitized and involved our employees in reducing CO2 emissions. In addition, this day facilitates the establishment of one of the actions of our carbon plan to develop ownership of electric vehicles among our employees.'
