ALD Automotive reaches online milestone with sale of 200,000th vehicle

By / 11 years ago / News / No Comments

The milestone was reached in October 2013 and comes as ALD launches a website dedicated to mobile devices, with two mobile applications designed for Apple and Android smartphones due out this month.

In a statement, ALD Automotive said the sale of the 200,00th vehicle confirms the reliability and success of its electronic sales platform as well as the strength and transparency of electronic sales in the remarketing industry.

ALD carmarket is currently deployed in 22 countries and provides an extensive portfolio to ALD’s used car clients, covering virtually all makes and models that return from the leasing fleet.

The group is gradually implementing this sales platform in all of its 37 subsidiaries and will continue to promote the sales of used cars through its online platform, with the aim of selling up to 75% of its leasing terminations via ALD carmarket, using a variety of sales channels, by 2015.
