Alphabet leased fleet reaches more than 644,000 units

Alphabet has reported continued growth in 2016, driven by new business contracts and SME customers.

Alphabet’s customers grew by 19%, reaching more than 80,000 clients.

The leasing giant’s fleet grew by 7% last year, compared to the industry average of 3.5%. In total, nearly 43,000 cars and light commercial vehicles were added to its portfolio in 2016, giving a year-end total of 644,420.

Alphabet also reported customer growth of 19%, reaching a total of more than 80,000 clients at the year’s end.

Alphabet solidified its role as a leading provider of sustainable Business Mobility solutions.

In 2016, Alphabet introduced over 9,000 electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in electric vehicles (PHEVs), totalling almost 6% market share of all EV/PHEV registrations in the company’s 12 relevant countries.

In addition to strengthening Alphabet’s eMobility business, other 2016 highlights included the launch of its latest innovation AlphaFlex in Belgium and the release of new features for its AlphaGuide app.

In 2016, Alphabet introduced over 9,000 EVs and PHEVs, totalling almost 6% market share of all EV/PHEV registrations in 12 relevant countries. Looking ahead to 2017, the company said it will continue to focus on delivering the latest mobility solutions.

Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we provide companies with tailor-made solutions today for tomorrow’s challenges. This makes us a leading provider in the Business Mobility sector,” added Mr van den Eijnden.
