Alphabet has expanded into Finland after adding local enterprise Secto Automotive to its global partnership network.

This new partnership establishes Alphabet’s presence in its 33rd market

Secto Automotive is the biggest privately owned leasing company in Finland, and the country’s third largest fleet provider. This new partnership establishes Alphabet’s presence in its 33rd market.

The new partnership expands Alphabet’s presence to 33 markets globally, comprising 14 company-owned locations and 19 partner locations, including most of Europe.

It’s the latest in Alphabet’s work to support local and international fleet operators with access to the latest solutions and services, delivering seamless business interactions on a global scale.

The tie-up also supports Secto Automotive’s work to grow its business amongst larger corporates and private lease customers; the company already has in-depth knowledge of the Finnish mobility market and well-established strong relationships with small and medium enterprises.

“The partnership with Alphabet supports our strategic direction, enabling us to leverage our expertise in fleet decarbonisation and offer customised solutions to a broader range of customers, not only in Finland, but beyond our borders too,” said Matias Henkola, CEO, Secto Automotive.

Alongside their shared growth plans, Secto Automotive and Alphabet both believe in a holistic approach that covers the entire customer journey.

“With Secto, we have gained a great partner to tune into the local needs and wants of fleets in Finland, as well as increasing the accessibility of our tailored mobility products and services in the region,” explains Susanne Loser, chief sales officer, Alphabet International. “We’re certain both sides will benefit greatly from each other’s network and capabilities, allowing us to support new and existing customers with a long-lasting partnership.”
