ARI Fleet UK names new finance director
ARI Fleet UK has appointed Adrian Phipps as its new finance director, as the business looks to further drive success and growth.
Phipps previously worked as finance director for global health services giant Aetna International and brings 25 years’ experience in finance from both commercial and operational roles.
In his new role, he will not only look after ARI’s financial position, but also consult with customers about their fleet funding and management to help them make the best economic decision for their operation.
“One of the things that has attracted me to ARI is market opportunity. There has been impressive growth over the past two years and there is clearly an ambition to continue that upward trajectory,” he explained.
“It is a company that is well-respected in the fleet sector, and has been introducing new technology and disruptive, innovative products such as Flexlease to great effect. It’s also a massive global fleet management player as part of the family-owned Holman Group and it’s really exciting to help leverage that amount of worldwide expertise for our customers.”
ARI Fleet UK has been providing fleet management services for almost 30 years and has almost 200 customers in the UK alone. As the new finance director, Phipps will work to accelerate value creation, whether on the business goes to market, assisting on the customer delivery and implementation side, or in operational excellence.
“ARI and the Holman Group’s philosophy is centred around transparency and for a financial director this is exciting, challenging, but also transformational. Whether ARI is offering funding, maintenance or management, our clients can see what everything costs and together we can help them make strategic and operational decisions based on the data, which means financial delivery is absolutely crucial,” he continued.
ARI managing director Nick Caller said Phipps brings tremendous and relevant experience to the business.
He added: “I am confident his laser focus on value creation and business transformation will serve us well as we continue to drive sustainable growth and delight our customers.”
