With this appointment, Laurence Trif takes responsibility for both strategic and operational marketing on group level. Her functions have also been extended to include Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), previously managed by Vincent Rupied, who recently moved on to other functions within the BNP Paribas Group.

‘The ambition of the new Corporate Marketing Department is to rapidly develop appropriate and innovative solutions to continuously offer to our customers the best in class Full Service Vehicle Lease, including new fields of interest as Mobility or Drivers experience,’ Ms Trif said.

‘We are very happy to welcome Laurence Trif. Her experience in implementing marketing strategies with an international reach and her in-depth knowledge of the BNP Paribas Group are all assets for Arval,’ added Thierry Lachaux, deputy CEO.

Ms Trif started her career in 1979 at the University of Brussels as market research manager. In 1999 she joined the BNP Paribas Group where she was first in charge of sales development for Western Europe under BNP Paribas Personal Finance, then Credit Card and Consumer Credit Director.

Later, she was in charge of the Group’s Global Card Operations Line within the Retail Banking core activity, before being appointed as head of marketing, for Cards, ATMs and Mobile Payment Solutions.
