Astreon and VisionTrack have signed a strategic resale partnership to help commercial fleet operators increase safety and time efficiency and cut costs.

The deal includes VisionTrack’s newly launched NARA AI-powered post-analysis solution

Astreon, an IoT aggregator and service provider of mobile workforce management solutions, will now offer its customers access to VisionTrack’s dash cameras.

The partnership also includes the newly launched VisionTrack AI-powered post-analysis solution, NARA (Notification, Analysis and Risk Assessment). The cloud-based software, winner of the Innovation in Risk Management award at this year’s Great British Fleet Awards held by Fleet World, uses computer vision models with sensor fusion to assess footage of driving events, near misses and collisions. It’s a huge step forward for video telematics, ensuring the review process is manageable and timely, while eliminating human error.

The deal will enable Astreon to deliver a more accurate and intelligent means of tracking commercial fleet workforces.

Astreon’s executive vice president, Andrew Singer, said: “Astreon is very excited about this partnership with VisionTrack. At Astreon, we provide only the industry’s best hardware and application-based solutions to North American business consumers. In our opinion, VisionTrack sets the benchmark for video telematics quality, and with its NARA automation, fleet operators will save hundreds of hours, while increasing safety, and reducing costs within their operations.”

For VisionTrack, the agreement continues to broaden the distribution of its products throughout North America.

Matthew Ison, vice president of sales – North America with VisionTrack, continued: “There is clearly a strong technology fit between Astreon and VisionTrack, which is why this partnership made perfect sense. More and more North American fleet operators are realizing the importance of incorporating 360 degree and AI-powered telematics to better identify and respond to key incidents as they occur – ultimately improving driver and road user safety while realising significant time and cost savings.”
