Athoris sees pan-European growth on back of success in France
The platform is used by leasing companies, manufacturers and repairers to process SMR activities and has already been extensively trialled with two major leasing companies in France and Renault, with over 40,000 transactions worth 12m Euros successfully processed.
The company says currently there are nearly 500 Renault franchised dealers now registered on the platform and this is set to grow to over 3,000 by the end of the year.
In addition, successful trials have now been completed with three more major manufacturers and further leasing companies are also preparing to join, according to Clifford Thames.
The firm says benefits of the platform include the ability for repairers to seamlessly create work orders without the need to double key.
In addition, leasing companies are said to be able to achieve considerable efficiency savings due to the higher levels of automatic authorisation as a result of the platform’s rule engine and data integration, which reduces disputes between repairers and leasing companies.
‘The Athoris platform is proving to be one of the most significant developments in the fleet industry,’ said Rob Whalley, commercial director, ‘and whilst France is the initial market, the success has opened up other markets in Europe. Athoris was always designed as a pan-European platform.’
