The relaunched marketplace sells the leasing giant’s defleeted full-service leasing cars across 38 countries, providing a platform to remarket 3.4 million multi-brand vehicles to professional car traders and dealers.

Also backed by a new ‘Better cars, everywhere’ tagline, the newly branded marketplace draws on the legacy ALD Carmaker platform and its 15-year history. It launches a year after ALD completed its acquisition of LeasePlan, creating a leading global leasing giant rebranded as Ayvens in most markets already.

The group said positioning the remarketing business under the new Ayvens global mobility brand reaffirmed its integral role in the overall business model through selling vehicles as they come off-lease and contributing to its development strategy.

Of the half a million used vehicles sold in 2023 by Ayvens, the majority were traded through its proprietary online platform – equating to a vehicle sold every minute.

Avyens also said the new ‘Better cars, everywhere’ claim fully underpins Ayvens Carmarket’s ambition to be the most sustainable global used car market, making it easier for customers worldwide to access more sustainable vehicles, including an increasing selection of used electric vehicles, from the company’s “inventory of cared-for vehicles”.
