BCA opens Danish remarketing centre
The new facility is said to be the largest remarketing centre operating in Central- and Northern Mainland Europe and is located in Billund near the German border, at the gateway to Central Europe with excellent motorway access (E45 exit 59) and adjacent to Billund international airport.
BCA Denmark offers the full range of BCA remarketing services, including preparation, SMART repairs, imaging, inspection and appraisal, and offers both physical and digital auctions and online Bid Now and Buy Now channels.
The new centre launched with a two-day international Grand Opening auction selling over 700 tax- free vehicles to 90 buyers in 14 different countries over the 24th and 25th of September.
BCA Denmark hosts international sales featuring up to 800 tax-free vehicles per auction, creating an efficient stock exchange for European transit volumes as well as domestic Danish vehicles.
A broad mix of makes and models are offered through its programme of tax-free auctions, creating a one-stop marketplace for international buyers, exporting tens of thousands of vehicles to an active buyer base of several thousand customers throughout Europe. Vendors regularly selling at BCA Denmark include Europcar, LeasePlan, BMW, Volvo and Audi.
BCA’s CEO Jon Olsen commented: ‘BCA will continue to develop and refine our best-in-class services for our customers – both buyers and sellers – to optimise efficiencies, reduce costs and improve value across the European marketplace. The wholesale used car market is changing in Europe and we are meeting that challenge by taking the best practice from the digital arena and blending it with our expertise in cross-border vehicle remarketing and pricing.’
