Business Lease announces new board members
The company, a leading international player in full-service car leasing, financing and rental as well as mobility solutions, is expanding its Group Management Team with the addition of Robbert van Muyden in the new position of director international sales, marketing & operations. Mr van Muyden is currently responsible for the Dutch operations of Business Lease.
In addition Arjan Stuij joins the company as the new managing director of Business Lease the Nederlands. He joins from Direct Lease where, as CEO, he was responsible for international operations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Meanwhile Philip Aarsman, who is currently responsible for all international Business Development activities within the Business Lease Group, including sales, marketing and operations, becomes director business development, with continued responsibility for all new product and market developments.
Harm Nijlunsing, CEO of Business Lease Group, said: ‘Business Development is very important for the (international) growth and development of Business Lease and involves a wide range of activities. In particular, it’s the nature of these activities that makes it necessary to split them up.
‘International Sales, Corporate Marketing, International Operations and the further development of existing products and services have a continuous nature and therefore need to be managed on a day-to-day basis. On the other hand, takeovers in existing and new countries, start-ups in new countries and new product development are more project-based and are also external in nature. G
‘Given that both main business branches are equally important to us, we have chosen to make two separate directors responsible, so that both branches can make an even greater contribution to the growth of the company, both at home and abroad.
‘We are therefore very happy that Robbert van Muyden is joining our Business Lease Group Management Team. He brings with him a wealth of experience and naturally he knows our Business Lease organisation and culture inside out.’
