Camera Telematics and Key Telematics ink global deal
Camera Telematics camera technology hardware is to be integrated with tracking and asset management software from Key Telematics under a new global deal.
The partnership between the two firms will bring an all-in-one solution that will benefit fleet owners requiring video combined with vehicle data; the Key Telematics platform will ensure that users of Camera Telematics’ ‘Street Angel’ onboard camera can access video and vehicle operating data from multiple devices, such as a mobile phone, a work computer or personal laptop. Key Telematics’ platform also delivers customisable dashboards, alert and reporting functions, and integrated fuel card data, providing full control over fleet operations.
The API (application programming interface) provides further flexibility on building custom features and integration with third-party solutions.
The deal draws upon Key Telematics’ global market presence and extensive experience in the fleet management market and further supports the worldwide growth of Camera Telematics’ business while increasing its profile among global resellers.
Commenting on the agreement with Key Telematics, Mark Stamper, group MD of Camera Telematics, said: “Working with Key Telematics raises our profile throughout the 130countries in which Key Telematics operates, to further expand our customer base.”
Clive Killops, CEO, Key Telematics, added: “Our philosophy is to partner with producers of premium hardware such as Camera Telematics which provides reliable real-time data to our customers. We are delighted with the integration of Camera Telematics hardware with the Key Telematics software. Fleet owners who require video combined with vehicle data will benefit from this powerful combination.”
