The office is based in the Lyon area and is headed up by Jean-Charles Martin as sales director (pictured).

Mr Martin has 25 years’ experience in IT, especially the software automotive and technology industries. His role at Chevin will see him build and strengthen the company’s local presence, working alongside European & African sales director Paul Verkinderen.

“Chevin’s strength lies in its capacity to deliver locally: We learn from each market’s best practices to constantly bring innovative solutions to our customers,” said Mr Verkinderen.

“The establishment of our new Lyon office represents Chevin’s long-term commitment to support the demands of the French market, whilst also dramatically improving support for customers operating in the region.”

Jean-Charles Martin added: “Chevin has been investing in building self-contained operations in every major market, including sales, consulting and customer support staff. This long-term commitment has proven to be successful over the years.

“Our new office will enable us to streamline and improve the delivery of our fleet management software whilst focusing on the specific needs of French fleets.

“The opening of this new office is the first stage of our expansion in France and I am thrilled to be part of it.”
