Danfoss appoints LeasePlan as global fleet partner

By / 12 years ago / News / No Comments

Danfoss, which employs approximately 17,500 people globally and has a presence in 53 countries, prides itself in providing solutions to global climate change challenges and it is for this reason that a global fleet management policy matching the company values was needed.

The key fleet objectives of Danfoss are centred around a reduction in CO2 emissions keeping in line with its CSR and brand policy. A further objective is that of ultimate transparency in their supplier relations and it is for this reason that Danfoss chose to consolidate its fleet management suppliers into a sole supplier relationship with LeasePlan.

Lene Bentzen, global category director, Danfoss A/S, said: 'LeasePlan was the obvious choice when it came to choosing our fleet management supplier due to their state-of-the-art reporting system which would provide us with the transparency we require. Next to transparency, consolidation is also of key importance to us and due to the global coverage of LeasePlan largely matching our own global coverage this can be effectively achieved. Finally, LeasePlan offered us the most competitive rates. Danfoss looks forward to a long and successful partnership with LeasePlan.'
