The van was customised to meet the firm’s needs at the Renault Tech workshop, which is located right inside the Renault plant in Batilly, France, where the vehicle was originally built.

The keys for the converted Master were handed over at the SOVAB by Eric Lemonnier, head of Renault Tech, to Philippe Lebreton, head of vehicle procurement for EDF.

Renault Tech adds that it is the only vehicle conversion operation to be completely integrated into a vehicle manufacturer’s operations. Based in Heudebouville, France, it has 11 workshops located inside the group’s plants.

Last year saw Renault Tech carry out a total of 118,500 conversions, including 29,900 involving Masters. Conversions for fleets account for 19% of this business unit’s activity.
