EkoFlota showcases latest eco developments to Polish fleet market
The organisers of the 1st International Trade Fair for Environmental Fleet EkoFlota: Innovation, Environment, Mobility have reported great results for the 2016 event.
Held on 20 October in Warsaw, the trade fair was attended by 46 companies and around 1,500 visitors who were able to see the latest developments in alternatively fuelled vehicles, listen to lectures, and finally witness a panel discussion with the participation of experts on environmental issues.
Vehicles on display included the Hyundai Ioniq and the Toyota C-HR hybrid, as well as the Toyota Prius, the Volvo XC90 T8, BMW i8, BMW i3, Nissan e-NV200, Tesla and many others. Highligths included the Polish premiere of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class station wagon.
There were also 30 hybrid and fully electric vehicles available to test, including the Renault Kangoo Z.E., Nissan LEAF, the Volvo XC90 T8, BMW i3, BMW i8, Volkswagen E-Golf and the Passat gte.

Another lecture was led by Balz Eggenberger and Thilo von Ulmenstein, managing partners of fleetcompetence europe GmbH, who spoke about their research on the effects of telematics and drivers’ habits in managing fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions in the corporate car parks. And Michael Warner of Fortum talked about infrastructure for electric and hydrogen vehicles in Scandinavia, representing a pattern in this area for Europe.
Next year’s event will take place in October 2017.
