“We see tremendous opportunity in Australia, where the addition of a new player that’s truly focused on customer service will create healthy competition for customer loyalty,” said Peter A Smith, vice president of global franchising for Enterprise Holdings, which owns and operates the National Car Rental, Alamo Rent A Car and Enterprise Rent-A-Car brands.

The move will see the Enterprise, National and Alamo brands become operational later this year through the Redspot network at all major Australian airports, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, as well as in key city centres. New Zealand operations will come online in 2016.

“This expansion is the latest milestone in our Asia-Pacific growth strategy,” Smith added. “We’re careful to choose franchise partners like Redspot who not only have a history of success, but also share our values and commitment to customer service.”
