Europcar Group acquires Brunel ride-hailing business
Europcar Group has acquired London-based ride-hailing business Brunel an undisclosed amount.
Brunel provides chauffeur and executive driver services via a mobile application, and primarily serves companies operating across a range of corporate markets, including investment banks, law, advisory firms and financial institutions. Tailored solutions include specific added-value services for roadshows and event management. These services are also available worldwide through a global network of partners in 75 countries, covering 480 cities.
Fabrizio Ruggiero, head of mobility and member of the Europcar Group Management Board, said: “This is another important step in Europcar’s path to be a key mobility provider. The addition of a ride-hailing business and executive driver service that has an excellent reputation both in the UK and worldwide means we can give our clients even greater choice for their travel needs providing us with a strong competitive advantage. We were particularly attracted by Brunel’s mobility applications, their high quality service and their operational excellence.”
