Europcar opens franchise in Paraguay

Europcar has been in Latin America since 2000 and is very strong growth at present. The Latin America economy is buoyant and the IMF says GDP is expected to grow by 3% to 4% per year until 2018.

The new franchise will kick off with three stations in Asuncion

‘This new opening contributes to our overall Franchise Strategy to develop more countries around the world and even more in the part of Latin America,’ explained Marcus Bernhardt, chief commercial officer of Europcar group.

Europcar franchisees’ network includes more than 130 countries, with further openings planned in the course of 2013 for Singapore, Bolivia, South Korea and Vietnam.
