Arriving in dealerships from late summer, the model features styling changes including the new single frame grille, which adopts the latest hexagonal design, and redesigned bumpers and tailpipes. The A7 Sportback also gets LED headlamps in addition to the familiar LED daytime running lights as standard on request and can be further enhanced by Matrix LED headlights.

Inside, there’s new interior materials, including aluminium/Beaufort walnut inlays and colour options. The A7 Sportback also now features the latest generation of the Audi modular infotainment system built around the Multi Media Interface.

The Audi connect system is also on offer, delivering internet connection via the latest LTE high-speed data transmission standard for ultra-fast 4G click-through and download functionality. The Audi phone box option is also now available, enabling occupants to connect their mobile phones to the car‘s antenna for improved reception. A Bang & Olufsen sound system is also available.

The line-up will initially offer two petrol and three diesel engines in the A7 Sportback, with power outputs ranging from 218PS to 333PS.

Of particular interest to fleets will be the addition of the new 218PS 3.0 TDI ultra, which in front-wheel drive form uses an average of 4.7l/100km with CO2 output from 122g/km.

There’s also a revised version of the 3.0 TDI clean diesel with 272PS along with a 3.0 TDI biturbo that delivers 320PS.

The top-of-the-range engine, the 4.0-litre TFSI, delivers 450PS of power with COD (cylinder on demand) technology.

The 3.0 TDI biturbo works with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission. All other engine configurations work with a seven-speed S tronic transmission, including front-wheel drive models where the redeveloped dual-clutch unit replaces the eight-speed multitronic CVT transmission. For engine outputs of 272PS and above, quattro permanent all-wheel drive can be supplemented with the sport differential, which actively distributes power between the rear wheels.

The A7 Sportback’s base price in Germany will be €51,300. The Audi S7 Sportback is available starting at €82,300.
