Fiat Professional gains top eco accolade in Netherlands

The awards for the Top Ten most environmentally friendly commercial vehicles are run by the Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB and the non-governmental organisation “Stichting Natuur &Milieu”, with the Fiat Professional brand having again received an award for its ongoing research into lowering environmental impact and, above all, the reduction of CO2 emissions.

The compact Fiorino, with 109g/km of CO2 and the versatile Fiat Ducato with 179g/km took first place in the “Small Van” and “Large Van” categories respectively.

In addition, in the last five years, the Fiat brand has recorded the lowest level of CO2 emissions from cars sold in Europe, with an average value of 118.2g/km in 2011 (4.9g/km less than the average in 2010).
