The points are located at the Bosgouet Nord (A13) and Tardenois Nord (A4) motorway service stations operated by SANEF and form part of the project’s plans for 200 fast charging points across France by the end of the year.

The national scheme has been co-financed by the European Union (TEN-T Programme) and a consortium of electric mobility stakeholders led by the EDF Group and also including its subsidiary Sodetrel, plus Renault, Nissan, BMW, and VW and the ParisTech group of 12 engineering and business schools.

The 200 points will be located along major motorways operated by the SANEF Group, one of the original partners, and APRR and Vinci Autoroutes as well as in nearby shopping centres. The points will be positioned at 80km intervals as part of the project’s aim to charge vehicles in the time it takes to have a motorway break.

Mobility operator Sodetrel plans to launch its own scheme for the Corri-Door charging service. The Sodetrel Pass will be available from its website sodetrel-mobilite.fr, or from service stations that offer the service. Members of other schemes will also be able to use the Corri-Door network to charge their vehicles as the charging points are interoperable.

The project will also be used to assess opportunities for deployment of an interconnected and interoperable charging infrastructure network in Europe.
