Frankfurt Motor Show: Refreshed Skoda Yeti to be unveiled
The two trim lines will go on sale from the end of 2013 and will offer a redesigned grille and headlights as well as additional alloy wheel designs, a new steering wheel, upholstery and dash on the interior, and the inclusion of a rear-view camera for the first time.
The City trim will feature body-coloured bumpers, underride guard, side mouldings and door sill while those on the outdoor version remain in black plastic.
There’s also four new Simply Clever solutions, comprising a double-sided floor covering and LED light in the boot, a vest holder under the driver's seat and a waste container in the side door.
However, the Yeti’s VarioFlex rear seat system has been retained along with boot capacity of 405 litres rising to 1,760 litres.
The engine line-up comprises four diesel and three petrol engines – all turbocharged and with direct injection and with option of a DSG twin-clutch gearbox and a Haldex-coupling all-wheel-drive variant.
The range includes the GreenLine version 1.6 TDI with front-wheel drive and a manual gearbox, which produces CO2 emissions of 119 g/km and offers fuel economy of 4.6l/100km. There are also threeGreen tec engine variants: the 1.4 TSI 122PS, 2.0 TDI/140PS with manual six-speed gearbox, and 1.6 TDI/105PS with seven-speed DSG. These include the Start-Stop System, brake energy recovery (recuperation) and low rolling resistance tyres.
