German tail-lift manufacturer Bar Cargolift has partnered with Revival Solutions Group to reignite its UK expansion plans.

The partnership brings a dedicated new company, Bar Cargolift UK Ltd, working alongside other group companies that operate within the commercial vehicle market.

Bar Cargolift, which produces tail-lifts with foot controls and platform lights as standard, previously downsized UK operations in 2009 in response to the global recession, but said its research showed an opportunity for significant growth in the UK and Ireland.

A key aim of the relaunch is to ensure a prompt delivery for customers thanks to the availability of certain lifts from stock now held in the UK. The company also offers a three-year labour and parts warranty as standard

Global sales and marketing director Steffen Stumpp said: “We looked long and hard at our approach to a relaunch of our products in an important market and decided using an agent partner with local knowledge and the same attitude to us in providing customers with a first-class sales support and a passion for quality was the best way forward.”

Derek Mount, head of sales operations in the new company, added: “We have a quality product which is competitively-priced, and our renewed presence in the UK will now allow us to better support our UK customers.”
