Schreyer joined Kia in 2006 from the Volkswagen Group and is famed with transforming the company's design philosophy with the introduction of his 'tiger-nose' family look.

Notable new products include the latest Sportage, the new cee'd family and mass-market models such as the Picanto and Rio.

Schreyer has previously commented on his commitment to Kia and his desire to remain with the company to continue the challenge of making Kia the most design-focused Korean car manufacturer.

The next product that will be launched under Schreyer’s design philosophy is the Carens, due later this year.

During his time with the Volkswagen Group Schreyer contributed to dramatic makeovers of the Passat and Audi TT.
