Latest Quarterly Review looks at Eurozone economic & automotive highlights

By / 11 years ago / News / No Comments

The review analyses the global economic situation briefly and considers in more detail market conditions in China and Japan.

It also looks at the Euro area, changing GDP in the Eurozone and unemployment levels in the EU to show how such issues mean that the Eurozone continues to run well below par and below the rest of the world’s economic blocks for new car sales.

Whilst the UK, Denmark and the Benelux states have shown increased sales in the review period, forecasts for some of the other principal EU markets are giving concern and the report analyses some of the steps that might be taken to ease the situation.

It also examines the UK economy at some length to put the automotive sector in context. Given the rate of recovery of the UK economy the quarterly report seeks to analyse the reasons for car sales in the private sector being so buoyant and performing completely counter to the rest of the EU. Demand for company vehicles also comes under focus.
